Time to decide, please help!!

I have been posting a lot on TA, almost decided on Holiday Inn Parkview, but discovered that SIA stopover are good value.

I would appreciate any input on:

1. Ritz

2. Marina Mandarin

3. Swiss Stamford

4. Holiday Inn Parkview (cheaper, not SIA stopover so not that much included)

2 adults 2 children 1 baby

Walking distance?

Room size?

Other things??

The Ritz Carlton is the best on that list by some margin. The standard roomms have twice the living/sleeping areas of the others. It is a 10-15 airconditioned walk from the MRT, whilst the Stamford is a 2min walk. Marina Mandarin neighbours the Ritz and if it is being offered at the same rate as the Ritzs, can be discounted. If you dont mind the the walk go for the Ritz, you can easily get an extra bed and a cot in the rooms with aome room to spare.

The Holiday IPV is fine if it is at a substandtial saving to the stopoverhotels.

Totally agreed, I stayed there in 2003. The room was spacious for my family of 2 adults and 2 younbg children. So with 1 more baby cot, I think it should still be fine. The hotel-just gorgeous! Take cabs, then distance is no problem.
