Carpark

Hi all,

Any idea where would be a good place to park a car in Singapore city from morning till night on a Saturday/Sunday?

Thanks a bunch.

Are U staying in any Hotel? Then ask the Hotel for a Complimentary Parking coupon.

Otherwise, This link could help U alot:

As with everywhere, do NOT leave any valuable belonging in your car. (Including any cashcard, packages, laptop etc.) ANother tips is to park in a covered carpark, so your vehicle will not be ';cooked'; by the time U wanna drive off.

Good Luck

Thank you very much for the link.

Found some places with reasonable parking rates in the CBD, which charge per entry rates.

I note in your other post that you are driving in/out on Sat/Sun.

On Sat: paid parking virtually everywhere near/within the inner city CBD area. My suggestion is the big public carpark at Angulia Park (behind Hilton Hotel/Far East Shopping centre - coupon parking, $1 per hour) on the upper fringe of Orchard Road. Take care not to drive into the lower sector of Orchard Road, as you will pay ERP charges to enter that part of Orchard Road. Parking in hotels and commercial buildings within the inner city would cost you dearly.

On Sun: same parking charges apply at Angulia Park (ie. $1 per hour). Alternatively you can park for free in the HDB estates that are outside the inner city area; then take a MRT into the inner city area.

Thanks for the valuable info. Will look those locations up. Completely forgot about ERP! But it%26#39;s a flat fee of $5, shouldn%26#39;t spoil one%26#39;s holiday too much.... ;)
