Taxi Fare From Airport

Could anyone please tell me how much the taxi fare would be from Changi airport to the Hangout Hostel@ mt. Emily .It is at Upper Wilkie Road, I have read from this forum that taxi drivers find this hostel difficult to find. Would it be cheaper for me to take the airport transer bus instead? Thanks for your help...

$20-$25. If fact if you assume it is this price to any hotel in town outside the the ones the near the airport, you wont be far wrong.

I dont know if the shuttle bus goes to Hostels. You could always print out a map, or bring the full postal address as most cabs seem to have satnav.

Singapore taxi fares can vary quite a few good dollars between peak hours and non peak hours as there is peak hour surcharge of 35%.

As there are quite a number of new taxi drivers lately, who may not be familiar with directions, if you are worried you might want to print out the location from the singaproe street directory and show it to the taxi uncle. That will solve your worries. The link to your hostel is as follows:

I love the hangout hostel personally. It%26#39;s a serene cozy hostel. And the Wildrocket Restaurant is one of my favourite dining venue.
