Apart from the dreadful Paulaner, are there any other German Bars/eating places in Singapore?

Thanks for your reply Kevins, the one in Raffles City is the one we have been to before and it was awful! Looking at the pictures on the website it does look inviting.......

They ran out of 2 types of beer and the sausage platter and the cheese platter were really fit for the bin! thought they were way to expensive with quite sullen staff and we waited an age to get served, ah well thanks for talking the time.....

I think I went to the same place you were not impressed with. We always joke that the food in Singapore was amazing and so cheap EXCEPT for the night at the German pub. We paid over $100 for beer and a really bad platter for 2.

ok. The Paulaner Brauhaus is at Millenia Walk, opposite the Conrad Hotel.

Otherwise, you may like to try Brewerkz at Riverside Point at Clarke Quay. http://www.brewerkz.com

They brew their own beer and have steaks, salads and burgers, etc.
