Gifts to bring back

A friend of mine is traveling to Singapore and I would like her to bring me back some goodies. I love to cook and would like her to bring me back some different types of foods, since I love to cook. I don%26#39;t know what she is allowed to bring back or what they have, so any suggestions would be greatly apprecited. I don%26#39;t like seafood, so that suggestion is out. Things like sauces, package mixes, spices, ect. Or, any unique liquors would do.

She leaves this 1/27/09, so I need to come up with a list this week.

There are shops at the airport that sell %26#39;Siingapore Food Gifts%26#39; %26amp; %26#39;Premium food Gifts%26#39; Obiviously these are designed for travelleres so that you can make typical Singapore favourites back home and include all the main dishes like laksa, chicken rice, satay, curry etc... Typically you just need to add rice/noodles or meat - everything else with instructions are included in the kit.

Thanks. I got a lot of ideas. Now, is there any other gifts, not along the food line that is a definate. I would prefer something that can%26#39;t be purchased in the USA.
