The MRT route looks to be easy but takes a long time. I%26#39;d be starting at Farrer Park, transfer at Dhoby Ghaut, then up to Kranji. From there I think I%26#39;d do a taxi for the last bit.
Any other ideas? How much would a taxi cost do you think from Little India?
Thanks again
Best way to get to Sungei Buloh wetlands
Train or bus it is equally a long distance but if you are interested in seeing some local suburban scenery, i recommend this:
Take the MRT to Little India Station, exit on the side going towards Mackenzie Road, Once U exit from the MRT, make an immediate Left turn to the main road %26amp; U will see a bus stop on ur left side, take bus 960 from here %26amp; alight at the bus stop opposite Kranji MRT station. (Journey about 45min). Cross the Overhead bridge over to Kranji MRT %26amp; wait for the kranji Shuttle Express.

I found the MRT to be quite quick - think it took about 35 minutes from Outram Park MRT so might take you 45 mins from Little India.
Once you get to Kranji, as Me Only said, look for the shuttle (yellow) bus which parks right outside the MRT station and leaves about every 20 minutes - it drops you at the entrance to the wetlands.
If you have a short wait, you can get a drink and food at the station.
To get back again, just get the bus back from the same point.
From Kranji to the wetlands takes between 10 %26amp; 15 minutes depending on stops.
Thanks people. I found that info abt the Kranji express yesterday but the way I read it the first bus goes at 9am, the next at 10.30, the next at 12 so they only go every 90 minutes.
