Best eats around Mustafa Center area?

Can anyone suggest any great restaurants around the Mustafa Center area? Especially traditional foods.

We won%26#39;t have a car, so anything within walking distance or close by. Also, is the area safe enough for women to walk around alone?

Hi, check out Raj Vegetarian restaurant along Syed Alwi Road. They serve delicious, good value northern and southern Indian vegetarian dishes. Yes, it%26#39;s perfectly safe for women to walk around alone around the Mustafa Center area as it tends to be quite crowded with diners and shoppers(families, tourists, etc) late into the night.

Hi Oxonhillgirl,

Although Sg is generally a well-governed country with very low crime rates, it%26#39;s still best to practice caution wherever you are.

For Mustafa area, it%26#39;s mostly visited by the indians... Generally no one will disturb you. But try not to walk alone too late (after 11pm) at night. As a rule of thumb, always walk along the main streets and just be careful. And if you see any drunkards along the road at night, please take care to stay away from them... and dont dress too revealing clothes in this area. =)

Some Singaporeans might disagree with me, but I have had some bad experiences. Hence this has taught me always better to be careful and be safe.

Cheers,

Suying
