Hi,

We%26#39;d like to know of the best way to our hotel, we have been quoted 80.00 gpb, is this average, any idea the price of taxis to and from Orchard St. area? We are 4 adults.

A Taxi cost around S$ 25 from the airport to most hotels in the city. It will take 4 adults but if you each ahve suit cases it may not all fit. You can hire a Maxi Cab from the counter next to the taxi rank for around S$40 which will take all of you. Or there is the Hotel shuttle for a fixed price of S$9 per perso to any hotel in Singapore. Unles you were counting every dollar I would take the Taxi, there is normally no waiting involved. 拢80 (S$ 200) sounds like an expensive limosine transfer service, because a Limo is normally S$100, or a S$50 for a Mercedes Benz Taxi.

GBP 80 is way off. It will still be cheaper to just take 2 taxis if you have a lot of luggage which you cost you around GBP25-30 altogether. Taxis are always available in constant supply at the airport. Minimum waiting time and hassle.

Thanks for replying, we%26#39;ll definitely take a taxi which is quicker and saves hanging around after a long flight.
