To all forums reader, I have a 4 hr stopover in Singapore. I heard that there is a 2 hr free guide to the city, but is there any other options or ideas, or what to visit?
Your ideas will be appreciated, and thank you.
4 hrs Stopover need advicesThe stipulation for the free city tour is that you have at least a 5 hour transit. 4 hours between flights is not that long considering that part of it will be taken up deplaning %26amp; re-boarding. For me, I would remain in Changi spend my time wandering/exploring it. There%26#39;s quite alot available and it would be easy to kill the few hours you have. YOu can get an idea from http://www.changiairport.com.sg
Just my opinion though, others may differ....
4 hrs Stopover need advicesYes,
The Free Singapore Tour requires you to be in transit for at least 5h:

You can go to the city by your own with a taxi but you won%26#39;t have a lot time to visit and will be subjected to traffic.
Otherwise, as Tripkaki said, you may enjoy Changi Airport. There are lot of things to do.
You can connect your laptop to internet free of charge (wi-fi or cable - bring your network cable). Free internet computre are also available.
There are also public lounges with TVs, free small movie theathers, free video games (xbox).
If you like shopping: Changi airport is actually a shopping mall with airplane runways.
There are many food outlets.
You can book a room at one of the transit hotels or just pay for a shower.
Here is the homepage of how to ';experience Changi';:

Hi freddyqtheislander,
Given the limited time you have, you can try getting a taxi at the airport that is willing to drive you around in town for about 2-3 hours (inclusive of 30 mins journey each to and from city). 2 hours of car tour around city, Orchard road, Singapore river, Chinatown should give you a glimspe of Singapore%26#39;s city icons and life. I don%26#39;t think you have time to stay long in any attractions, maybe just 5 mins photo-stops here and there only. You will have to agree with the driver the per hour price. Can be expensive. If this is not your cup of tea, then maybe you should follow the previous posters%26#39; advice to stay at Changi airport and shop around, which may not be a bad idea, you know, because many Singaporean actually visit the Changi airport as an attraction and dine there as a family.
Changi airport is an experience in itself, in fact 4 hours is hardly time enough to do or see all that it has to offer. The short time you have is nowhere near enough time to have any meaningful or quality time in the city, much of which will be spent looking at your watch, in order not to miss your connecting flight, imho.
