Malaysian Food in Singa

Hi Andy

Malays are prohibited from drinking and serving beer %26gt;a alcholic drink

You will not be able to find beer at a traditional Malay restaurant but the no so conservative will serve this drink, not a issue at Singapore

Malaysian Food in Singa

If U eat at Food Court (Air Cond) or Hawker (Non Aircon), there will be many stall including atleast 1 Muslim %26amp; 1 Indian Stall each.

And not to mention the Big Beverages Stall that serve Beer.

Have fun.

Hummmm... I wanted to ask... does foodcourt sell Satays? It%26#39;s either I%26#39;ve never noticed or foodcourts doesnt usually sell Malay Satays.

Good tasty satays are found in Hawker Centres (non-aircon)... if you are worried about hot weather, take those Malay food at night for dinner or supper. You can have your satays and beer at Lau Pa Sat (near Raffles Mrt Station) OR by the beach at East Coast Lagoon Hawker Centre, OR at Changi Village Hawker Centre if you would be interested. Changi Village offers quite a good range of Malay Food. =)

At Lau Pa Sat you might bum into some food touting though... where some food vendors would usher you to a table and then urge you to order from them. To prevent this situation, don%26#39;t let them usher you to a table, find the table on your own.

Cheers,

Suying

Yes, there is Satay at The Mr Teh Tarik Food Court (Non Aircon) ^__^.

I once saw satay with rice at a Kopitiam Food court somewhere......I think they microwave the satay instead of over the charcoal......
