Bus from KL to SIN then a night flight...enough time?

First time traveler to Singapore and KL.

I am taking a early morning Transtar Bus from KL to SIN ( I have heard its usually 5-6 hours). I have a flight leaving Changi Airport in Singapore at 11:30 PM. I have also heard immigration by land border is very slow.

Do I have enough time to take the bus from KL to SIN in the morning, and catch my flight that leaves Changi at 11:30 PM?

Thanks!

Yes thats plenty, you should be in Singapore in the afternoon.

Early morning has less traffic usually... so if there is a really bad jam, you%26#39;ll be at most stuck for 2-3hours... definitely on time for night flight and you would have enough time to do a short evening tour and have dinner at singapore local food stalls.

Cheers,

Suying

yeah..usually Singapore immigration took times longer than Malaysia, but it doesn%26#39;t take a long time..

U will have much time to catch ur flight, don%26#39;t worry .

I%26#39;ve been in ur situation but the difference i have to took flight at 8 PM and at 3 PM i still at Batam ( Indonesia ) waiting for the ferry that seems to be late a lil%26#39; bit and guess what ? I still make it to the airport :)

Have Fun !!

I have caught buses KL to Singapore a couple of times and found that Customs etc were fast. Ok one was 7.00am and the other was 2.30pm. The buses used the second causeway crossing which seems to be better and no so crowded. However one passenger on the bus was delayed 1 hour... his only luggage was several bags of DVDs. I think the time also depends on how much a ';tourist '; and therefore harmless you look!! Singapore is a lot stricter on its own citizens as to what they can and cannot bring in. You would have plenty of time for your flight.

If you travel during the weekdays, than its not a problem at immigrations. If you take a 7 am bus, you will probably reach Malaysia border in Johor around noon and Singapore half hour after. Then it should not be a problem for immigration clearance at both checkpoint. But if its is a Saturday, Sunday or Public holiday in Malaysia or Singapore, be prepared to be caught in a traffic jam.

If your coach stop at Golden Mile Complex, you are only about 20 to 25 mins taxi drive to Airport.
