We are looking at going to Bintan in April. Last year we stayed at Nirwana and although the pool was fantastic and the villa lovely, we were a little disappointed. The restaurants were limited (especially for the children). We are trying to decide between the Angsana and Bintan Lagoon resort. Having read many of the reports on BL it seems unless you get a renovated room, you may be very disappointed. As we are a family of five, we need a villa and having enquired, we are told the villas are not yet renovated. Has anyone stayed at the Cempaka villas and give us a better idea what they are like? What about the Angsana resort? We want somewhere the children can enjoy and we can relax. Thanks!
