Most larger stores will take any major currency but exchange rate will be poor and change will be in local currency. Smaller stores will be local currency only usually. Smaller store in Johor will take Singapore dollars but again the exchange rate will be again be poor.

When in SIngapore, U use SingDollar

WHen in Malaysia, U use M Ringgit

Where to change? You can change at any Currency Exchange Counter in Town (Avoid the Airport counter).

Let me know where U staying %26amp; I can direct U to the nearest exchange. But if you are not changing much, there won%26#39;t be any differences.

As for the SingDollar when U arrive, U can change about S$50.00 at the airport; for ur Taxi ride%26#39; if U did not change any Sing$$ in Ur own country before coming.
