Ibis on Bencoolen

We are going on our first trip to Singapore on 14/3/09 on the way to Kota kinabalu!

we are staying at the new Ibis on Bencoolen 14-18/3/09 but at this stage there are no reviews posted.

Has anyone stayed there? Any comments?

It is a Brand new Budget hotel that just open early this Feb 09.

Previous post on the Ibis hotel in this forum indicates that there is no refrigerator in the rooms... so if you arent bothered about it... it should be fine. Best for you to really check out the room details of the hotel website as this hotel is still very new.

Cleanliness wise I suppose it should be sparkling clean for this new period? =p

I have done a independent review of Ibis on Bencoolen Singapore and took pictures when I was given a tour of the hotel pre-opening. However, tripadvisor.com has ';rejected'; my review to be posted withhout giving any reasons.

Anyone, who wants a general overview of this hotel just send me a private message.

';tripadvisor'; says that their filters were tripped, and my review was rejected. I posted 2 batches of photos. The Jan pictures I took of the building were put up, however the 2nd lot of pictures which I took of the interior + my review were rejected and deleted. I had to ';demand'; for my review to be returned as I did not keep a copy for myself as I wrote it online on the website. Susequently, the 1st lot of pictures were also deleted by them.

Maybe they think I am working for Ibis and trying to promote the hotel here....

where is ibis exactly on bencoolen? i have stayed a couple of times at bayview and love the location/area. it%26#39;s good to check out other options in this vicinity

RioJ... ahhh... don%26#39;t need to do that... I could have just created a new user-id on tripadvisor.com and post the review... this time I would make sure that I would write something which sounded like I%26#39;ve stayed there... easy...

tambalyn... Ibis on Bencoolen is along the same stretch of road as Bayview... the hotel is about 100m before Bayview...
