Hi. Is it safe for a girl to shop in Mustafa alone in the wee hours of the morning? And can I get taxi during wee hours?

Yes, no problem. Have passed that area around 3 plus in the morning (sorry, not shopping though, just showing people around after a late night out) and it%26#39;s still very animated!!! So taxis a plenty. I also think it%26#39;s quite safe, especially when you compare it to other cities in the world. I mean, this is Singapore! ;-P But of course, always use your common sense!

Very safe area. In fact the late/wee hours are the best for shopping at Mustafa; that is when it is least crowded.

Go around 10 pm, nearest MRT station is Farrer Park station on the NorthEast Line and 5 mins walk to Mustafa. Lots of Indian food eateries around; have dinner, then around 11 pm start to explore Mustafa - it is an emporium where prices are usually cheaper then elsewhere.

If U are hungry after the shopping, Walk ALL the way from Mustafa Front (Towards Jalan Besar Road from Syed Alwi Road). Facing the main Jalan Besar Road is Swee Choon Dim Sum that open from 6pm to 10am next day....

They have indoor %26amp; outdoor sitting.

if U stay at G4 station, can prolly walk back to hostel too ^__^ (About 15min slow stroll)

Gets very crowded Friday and Weekends in evening and it can be tough getting a Taxi from 10pm to 1pm.

generally safe. i normally head off to mustafa after 11pm when i still feel like shopping (mostly for indian food at their grocery). just try to avoid the weekends. it%26#39;s fairly easy to get a taxi, never had a problem.

mustafa is an interesting big mall to explore and its good really good prices.
