In one of the reviews for the Novotel Clarke Quay a supermarket in the basement was mentioned so I would like to know how extensive it is. Can you get all the normal items like smallgoods, dairy, salad items and alcohol (wine, beer) etc?

One of my favourite Supermarket for Japanese take away Sushi /Sashimi.
U can get everything U name above (Price might just be about S$1-2 different from elsewhere But note some of the product there imported from Japan.

If U go shopping in Orchard or mall, there will be Supermarket like Cold storage have even more extensive range of product (I like the Liqour section).

It%26#39;s a long time since I stayed there, but when it was the New Otani there was a great supermarket in the basement. Even though it wasn%26#39;t huge, you could get anything you want like smallgoods, dairy, even fruit and vegetables if I remember correctly and yes including alcohol. I imagine it would still be there.
