Cost of buffet dinner at Night Safari

This year we have decided that we won%26#39;t take a tour to Night Safari which includes the buffet dinner as we have found on both the previous times we have done this that it is all too rushed. We want to be able to enjoy a leisurely meal and then wander to wherever we want in the zoo without being hurried along by a guide urging us to stop eating as we have to get on the tram! However, I can%26#39;t find any information out about the cost of the buffet dinner as non-tour diners. Is anyone able to help with this? 1 adult and 1 x 13 year old, don%26#39;t know if he would have to pay adult price too? Thanks in advance.

Not sure if the buffet is nice or not (never tried) Hotel are my favourite place for Buffet ^__^.

And the hawker centre around singapore are place for my favourite Singapore dishes.

The price is about S$20+ according to this review:

I dont think anyone has them voluntarily, only if oblidged to because they have paid for it as part of their tour. I cant remember the buffet or ala cart prices, but I did stop by to have a look and decided the Bongo burger fast food joint at the Safari was a better option. At 13, that would be adult price in singapore. Best to eat before you go though.

Food is extremely expensive at the Night Safari. A burger, some chips and a drink would cost about $20+. Would encourage visitors to have an early dinner at say around 5.30pm in the city before making the trip to the Night Safari. It is easy to get around Night Safari on your own. Do not really need to join a tour to the Night Safari.
