Romantic beach

I am in Singapore for 3 weeks at the moment, does anybody know of a really good clean beach with no views of the big ships, and not too far away. My partner is working here and don%26#39;t have much time to drive around. We have a whole day to spend though.

unfortunately, a really good clean beach is hard to come by in that region unless u r willing to travel. The closest is in Bintan or Johor (and by most standard, wont consider it really good beaches).

i would recommend a weekend trip to Malacca and check out one of their beaches (3 main ones for tourists) :

PS. there r resorts along the beach area but dont expect much (very basic and seemed like 20 years old hospitality style/design)

Singapore is one of the busiest Port in the world.

There%26#39;s no getting away from the ships, but Tanjong Beach (Sentosa) is not too bad! I take my dogs nearly every sunday morning, and i%26#39;m always surprised how clean it is, even the water (most days). I would imagine weekdays are quiet (?) if you just want to sit on the beach and relax. You can see ships in the distance, but the overall layout is good, and they don%26#39;t seem too obnoxious.

Worth a try, if you%26#39;re stuck in Singapore.
