six weeks in asia, where should i go?Hi,
When do you want to go wherever you want to go? The time of the year would help to determine which are the better placess to visit due to the weather, e.g. rainy season...Are you looking for mainly beach or culture or a bit of everything....?
Loads of lovely places in SEAsia....Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Bali, Indonesia (Bali is very different from the rest of Indonesia), Vietnam, Malaysia, etc, etc..
six weeks in asia, where should i go?going on 1st feb. would really like to do singapore, malysia, laos, vietnam, cambodia and then thailand for two weeks due to friends visa.
Im finding it hard to plan most cost effective routes to do all this starting in singapore and ending in bangkok so would appreciate any tips!
You%26#39;ve left it a little late. However.
Check out low cost carriers: Air Asia, Tiger Airways, Jetstar for flights to various Asian cities. You then have to decide what you want to see/enjoy doing.
what your thoughts about anti-malarials out in asia? i%26#39;ve only been given 22 by my GP (still remains unclear as to why!?!) and think i%26#39;ll need to get more... what your thoughts?
If you%26#39;re going into the jungles, then yes you%26#39;ll probably need those pills. But your GP should start you on them at least 2 weeks before your travel date and you have to continue for another 2 weeks after your return.
I%26#39;ve only ever once taken those pills ... for my trip to Mexico, Guatemala on the Mayan trail. I was taking them for over 6 weeks.
concerning!! I%26#39;ve been given malarone so only have to take them day before but still concerned as to the amount i%26#39;ve been given! Didn%26#39;t question it initally because you assume they know what they are doing!! Do you reckon i%26#39;ll be able to get some out in asia?
