Which hotel?

Sorry but another hotel question!

Having 2 nights enroute back from Perth to UK. Given we have 5 nights on the way out, these 2 nights are purely to break the journey for our little boy.

We hope to already have done shopping, zoo, Singapore flyer, raffles etc so our 2 night stay (we don%26#39;t actually land until 9 pm on the first night) is simply for relaxation and a bit of pampering before going home.

We%26#39;d want somewhere with excellent pool and spa facilities and a fantastic breakfast is a must for my hubby.

Where would you recommend? We have about 拢300 a night to spend.

Thank you.

Which hotel?

Shang would be a good choice (spa, good breakfast and a nice pool).

With your budget, there are many choices so I hope this list can help u decide :

I will also consider Mandarin Oriental or Fairmont. I love the 4Seasons good food, great service and rooms but spa is not as caught up as the others (unless with the current renovation, they have updated the spa).

Good Luck

Which hotel?

With that budget you can stay at Raffles, I did a quick search and came up with this %26#39;%26#39;State Room%26#39;%26#39; price. It says for business travellers, but I don%26#39;t see why you couldn%26#39;t book it. Alan

Best Available Rate.

Raffles Inc State Room with two King-size beds. Situated on the west wing of the main building, this suite caters for business travelers. Broadband Internet access, a writing desk and a coffee(tea) maker are available in-suite.

拢211.70.

I would recommend the Mandarin Oriental or the Ritz-Carlton Millenia. Reserve rooms that faces the city skyline of Marina Bay.

Shangri La breakfast choice is great. The atmosphere in the breakfast area is a bit canteen like.

From experience of Four Seasons hotels in other countries - their breakfast has always been very good.

Yet it%26#39;s emphasis was more on excellent pastries.

Rooms at the Fairmont are fantastic (South Tower, de luxe) but their breakfast is ghastly. You could always go across the road and have breakfast at Raffles. This what I did.

Shangri La rooms in comparison are poor.

Just go careful if you book at Raffles, the bill soon mounts up and you could end up with a very big bill. I stayed 2 nights no meals but drinks and snacks. The bill 拢1560.

Alcohol in SG is expensive, more so in upmarket hotels like Raffles.

With a 拢1560.00 drinks bills for two nights I doubt a person would even remember being in Singapore. Ha Ha Alan.

No 拢1560 was for the room as well as drinks and snacks ect. The drinks were about 拢8/9 each I think. ian480.
