Transit Hotel

Hi, we arrive into Singapore just after 9pm and leave again for Phuket at 7am the next morning. We%26#39;d ideally like to use the transit hotel located in the airport, but we%26#39;re not sure if we%26#39;ll be allowed (i.e. we assume we%26#39;ll have to pick our bags up and clear customs?? We%26#39;re catching a Tiger flight, which isn%26#39;t on our international ticket). Has anyone done this? Or is there another hotel nearby that will suit?

My son recently arrived into singapore on an emirates flight and was then catching a tiger flight. When he arrived he went straight to the transit hotel without collecting his luggage or clearing customs as he would not have been able to get back into the transit hotel. After his 6 hour break at the transit hotel he then collected his luggage from left luggage and cleared customs. Hope this helps.

If you clear imigration then you won%26#39;t be able to use the transit hotel.

I wouldn%26#39;t feel comfortable leaving my luggage siting at the end of the luggage belt and hoping to find it again the next moring somewhere when you clear immigration the next day, so its best to check into one of the hotels near Changi.

I agree we are about to do the same thing and I am concerned the bags wont be there when i get back - Airasia fly from terminal 1 but i think you also need to clear customs and get bags and recheck with them - does anyone know?
