crowne plaza changi airport- 3 beds in one room?

Hi,

We have decided to spend a night at Crowne Plaza passing through Singapore en route to NZ. We just want one room (2 A + 2C) however the two boys (6 and 10) are not keen on sharing a bed but the hotel seems to be saying there isn%26#39;t room for twin beds and a rollaway despite some travellers%26#39; reviews suggesting there would be.

Has anyone actually been in a room with two beds plus rollaway? I%26#39;m not sure if it is just a communication difficulty and maybe it is possible in a club room?

Also has anyone had any problems with late check out as our connecting flight is after 11pm so we definitely don%26#39;t want to leave at midday, we want the room until 7pm or so which they say we can have for an extra charge but we have to arrange when we arrive. Am just worried it may not be possible once there, or is it such a big hotel it won%26#39;t get full? We will be travelling over Christmas, did any one stay there over this last Christmas-New Year period?

TIA

HI TIA,

You%26#39;ve already confirmed your books?

Christmas is usually hot season for hotels and tourism. However, I%26#39;m not sure about the occupacy rates atht Crowne Plaza, it could be as popular as there would most probably have a good number of tourists with similar situation as you, transiting in Sg.

If you find difficulties communicating with the front desk executives, who sometimes may be non-singaporeans hence doesnt speak very good english, you could request to speak to their Front Office MAnager.

Unless it%26#39;s a package GIVEN to you written down as a condition, it%26#39;s usual practice for hotels to grant you late checkouts if they have the availability. So it%26#39;s not a guaranteed kind of thing. Priorites will be given to arriving guest. If any staff assures you of the late checkout, remember to get a writing from him/her... and know their names to avoid awkward situation and protect your rights when the day arrives.

Cheers,

Suying
