We land in Singapore at 9.30 pm so think it will be around 10.30 pm before we get to the hotel and into our room, even later.

I%26#39;d really like to try the Valley Wing at the Shangri-la but it doesn%26#39;t seem worth it for the first night we are there as we won%26#39;t get the benefit of any perks.

Would it be frowned upon if we were to book a standard room for the first night but check out of that room and into the Valley Wing for the second night?

We are only there for 2 nights!
