Can you tell me if the water supply in Singapore is safe to drink? I presume so but don%26#39;t want to test it out on my 6 month old with his formula/drinking water.
Thank you.
Water supply
Its safer, and tastes better, than anything coming out of the tap in the UK. Well certainly London where I live now.
Water supply
Yes, the quality of our tap water is of the highest standard. But I would advise you to use boiled water for making your child%26#39;s milk. As you boil the tap water (not just in Singapore, but everywhere), you boil away the (long term harmful) chlorine which they used to kill bacteria in purification process of water. Two cents worth from a Chemistry teacher.
Boil the Tap water to make milk milk ^__^ Like what the Local here do.
Otherwise, for an expensive alternative, buy bottled mineral water, boil %26amp; make milk milk :P
Have a good time.
The water is very safe to drink in Singapore but I would be boiling it for your little one.
A friend advised me that you can actually tour one of the water treatment plants if that kind of thing is of interest to you.
Hope you have a great trip
Yes, it is called Newater Plant. If you are interested, let me know. I can direct you to book a tour there. Tour is guided and about 1 hour.
