Virgo cruise vs Royal Carribean cruise
I guess I would choose Royal Carribean out of the two. Star cruise is really too family oriented or should I say have a very mass produced feel. If you want to have the real romance and luxury of cruises, I heard that Cunard%26#39;s Queen Mary is stopping by. The only problem with it? What to wear...
Virgo cruise vs Royal Carribean cruise
Oh, and if you have not already heard, Cunard%26#39;s QE2 has recently retired (thought you might be keen to know).
Hi there we%26#39;ve cruised with Royal C over the last few years and they%26#39;ve been great.
Infact we%26#39;re on a cruise next year from singapore to dubai !!
Have been on RC around Carribean and the Med. Not dissapointed, excellent food, cabins and v.friendly young staff mainly from F.East and East Europe.Would Reccomend highly.

Hi Shsh
I am also looking for a cruise Jan 09
from Singapore but after reading a terrible review
on website ';Cruise Critic'; from a passenger
who cruised with Legends of the Sea Royal
Caribbean in Dec 08, it put me off so much
that I decided not to take the chance.
It is unfortunately that the Libra has cancelled
all cruises Ex Singapore in Jan as we were originally
booked to go with them, I have always heard good
reports about Star Cruises.

I have found that a cruise is what you make of it. Most ships are roughly the same and the cabins on them have basicly the same options. If you want to play up and dance all night you can do that or if you want to read and have a quite holiday you can do that too. To me a cruise is the excitement of meeting new people and seeing new places not the star rating of the ship. My advice, always try something new you only live once.
Good luck
John
We just returned from cruising ex Singapore on the Legend of the Seas. It was fabulous! Hubby and I have been on 30+ cruises, and we loved the Legend!
My hubby and I will be on the RC cruise from Singapore middle January 2009. First timers, I will report to you....
We might see you there, Savannah.
We are on Royal Caribbean 21 January. We previously cruised with them in Europe. It shows what we thought of them that we have booked with them again.
We were on the Legend 16-19 Jan in a Superior Balcony cabin. This was our third cruise and the biggest and most comfortable cabin we had and despite the ship%26#39;s decor is looking a bit tired we had a great time.
We were a little concerned at the time of boarding that we would stand out like a sore thumb amongst all the local Chinese and many Japanese, but we needn%26#39;t have worried. There were many other nationalities on board including the charming Irish couple and young Australians at our dinner table.
My only criticism is that some of the staff at the Pursers desk had little knowledge and had to rely on a more experience colleague to assist.
We would happily do it all over again.
The young black American guy and French girl who looked after the climbing wall were especially personable and friendly. A real credit to RCL.
