What would be the cheap way of getting from Changi to our hotel on Balestier Rd?

We%26#39;re only staying for the night and don%26#39;t wish to spend a whole heap on taxis. However, we do have some luggage with us.

I%26#39;d take a Taxi for around S$20.

You could take an the MRT to Novena and walk it (15 min or so), for around $1.50 a person, but you would really need to be counting the pennies to take that option after a long flight.
