Nyonya High Tea

Where%26#39;s the best place for Nyonya High Tea? The coffeehouse in Goodwood Park Hotel used to serve one of the better ones ... not sure if it%26#39;s still available?

Nyonya High Tea

Yes, Goodwood Park hotel still serve the Nyonya Hight Tea(aka Local High Tea) at its Coffee Lounge. Alternatively, for top-notch nyonya cakes and kuehs, you may like to check out those Bengawan Solo outlets with a simple cafe concept. Those that I know of are located at #B1-02, West Mall Shopping Center(nearest MRT station: Bukit Batok) and #01-15 Tiong Bahru Plaza(nearest MRT station: Tiong Bahru). There, you%26#39;ll get to enjoy really good, fresh Nyonya cakes at reasonable prices. Only thing is, they serve them ala carte and not buffet-style.

Thanks a bunch!! I like the sound of the Ellenborough Cafe at the Merchant Court! Then again maybe I%26#39;ll head back to the Goodwood .... choices, choices.

Me^Only,

what is the current opinion on this buffet?

Princess Terrace Cafe- Penang Buffet

Where: Copthorne King%26#39;s Hotel Singapore

enjoyed it when i went there about 3 years ago....is it the same? better? worse?

any ideas of similar nonya high teas in KL?

thanks.

June

I went to princess Terrace about 8mths ago (that the last time).....Hmmm...it get worst compare except the Pig Maw Soup is still the same.

For the price one pay, I say Ellenborough would be a better choice for Nonya Buffet (I love the Durian Penget).

For Nonya Ala Cart, I go for Pera Makan:
