Sorry, but I%26#39;m probably going to be asking pretty dumb questions, but a response would be appreciated.
1 Is there an ATM, or preferably 24 hr money changer at the Budget Terminal?
2 This is first time with budget airline - when I booked there were no options for ordering food. Is this a choice when actually on the plane? What currency do you pay in? If everything has to be pre ordered before departure, does this include a cup of coffee/soft drink? Thanks, much appreciated.

hi no questions is dumb questions... i myself have ask questions which is easily answered by others...
so on to
No.1) yes, there ARE ATMs and if i am not wrong a money changer inside the budget terminal. Not at the check-in area, though.
No.2) don%26#39;t worry about pre-ordering food. all budget flights serve food on board and the currency use is, if FROM and TO SG then it will be Singapore Dollars and from whichever the flight is flying TO and FROM, then it will be that country flight currencies.

The money exchange is to the right as you walk out of the baggage collection area on arrival (Glass doors after the baggage scan), you cant miss it! There are also a number of hotel and transportation services available beside the money exchange place.

hi,atm and money changer have been answered, food on the plane generally is a choice of two hot meals, sandwich, alc. drinks, tea coffee, soft drinks, cup of soup or noodles and some lollies, nuts. you can pay in australian dollars but they will give you the change in singapore dollars.
Tazmo...
You can bring sandwiches for your flight, and get your beverages onboard. On some previous occasions, Tiger may run out of hot meals for the PER-SIN return sector. They only load in the meals on SIN-PER sector. If the SIN-PER is full, hot meals may run out leaving the return PER-SIN flight without any hot meals (as they do not load any hot meals in Perth). No pre-orders are accepted by Tiger (unlike on selected Jetstar flights).
You can pay for your purhases in A$.
I have been reading this as we are doing the same trip in March.
Now the flight doesn%26#39;t arrive until 2.50am so will the money changer be open then? I would think not....so then can we use our Australian key cards in the ATM machine (I believe if has the cirrus logo on it ?)?
Don%26#39;t know how else to pay for taxi.
Just a thought Perthlovetotravel - I am going Tiger later in the year and have the same money changing issue. I though I would change just a small amount here in Perth so I at least have the taxi fare - even thought the exchange rate probably wont be as good. Also where did you end up staying? The hotels are so expensive.
The money exchange is open when u arrive from Perth, I been on the flight a few times from Perth to Singapore with Tiger. After Midnight the taxis in Singapore all have surcharges, I recommend you use the bus service, its costs 9 SGD to pretty much any hotel on the mainland, there are a few exceptions though. After collecting your bags, passing through the glass doors in the arrivals hall you will see a number of desks providing services such as transportation or hotels. One of the desks there provide the bus service, its great value especially if you travel solo.

Hi Crazie girlie,
we ended up booking the SEA hotel. It is almost opposite Bugis shopping centre and mrt. Making it close to most things (walking to little India and raffles etc)
It includes tea/ coffee, phone and tv in rooms with air conditioning and ensuite.
Also includes breakfast.
The reviews on here for the most were good.
Only thing is it doesn%26#39;t have a pool. But it is $140 a night for family room, $118 a night for triple room and $100 a night for twin.
Can%26#39;t beat that.
We will just go to a local pool (apparently there are many) or swim where the girls will be training as there are pools there.
Yes I might get some money before we go.
Enjoy your trip.
Hi Jetpilot,
The bus sounds much cheaper...but there are 7 of us.
So might be cheaper to hire the maxi cab....will that hold 7 plus the driver and do you know the price at 3am?
If we decide on the bus @ $9 each, how long would it take to get to Waterloo street? Would it go around the world and take forever?
Thanks.
