We are going to singapore in April and are staying at the fairmont has anyone stayed there and what was it like

I stay there all the time, when it was the Raffles the Plaza. They rebranded about a year ago. It is one of the better 5* hotels, with probably the best location for access to the MRT as well attactions accessible by foot. Also connected to a large shopping centre with a superarket in the basement. The usual 5* hotel fascilities. Well worth upgrading to the a room in the South Tower (Deluxe rooms) as they have more modern furnishing and a much nicer bathrooms with seprate sower and bath is a semi wetroom.

I pretty much agree with Mankster. I love the Fairmont. The location is excellent (connected to Raffles City Shopping Centre and the MRT). Very good quality hotel - 4.5 to 5 star.
