Cheap Hotels on New Year's Day?

I%26#39;ve been searching Agoda.com for cheap SIN hotels. The cheapest around has been for about $50 USD per night. Does anybody know where to find cheaper hotels? Thanks!

P.S. I don%26#39;t mind staying in a hostel so long as I can get a private double room (2 people).
