While we are in Singapore we would like to do a trishaw ride and I have noticed that tour operators go through either Little India or China town. Has one been on these tours and might be able to tell me if one option is better than the other? Also are the tours better to do at night rather than during the day?

Larchi, the trishaws share the road with every other taxi, truck, car and bike through two of the most heavily trafficed places in Singapore. Their routes are regulated. Keep these things in mind as you put your plan into play.
Timing wise - early evening. Around 7pm I would suggest. Most of the peak hour traffic is done, the sun won%26#39;t fry you and there%26#39;s still some background light not just the neon.
